HFA’s VOICES Campaign: VOICES from the Community

What do the Cleghorn’s, Laveane Lovelady, and Barry Haarde have in common?  Their stories are featured on HFA’s VOICES page.  The Cleghorn’s video clip highlights their son’s life from the very beginning.  Barry shares a story that many Blood Brothers could relate to.  Laveane talks about being diagnosed with mild Hemophilia A after the birth of her son who was diagnosed with severe Hemophilia A.

HFA’s VOICES page now features 6 videos and several written stories highlighting the lives of people with bleeding disorders. The videos and written stories highlight access to care, insurance caps and many more issues that impact the community.  HFA’s VOICES Program Coordinator, Katie Whittle is excited about the opportunity to capture stories from community members across the country.  Please take a moment to watch and read the stories from the bleeding disorder community.  If you would like to share your story, please contact HFA at info@hemophiliafed.org.
