TX Bleeding Disorders Advisory

HFA Board Member Lew Collins has been appointed to the Texas State Bleeding Disorders Advisory Council. According to the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) this advisory council will oversee: 1) public use data, outcome data, and other information submitted to or collected by DSHS related to hemophilia or other bleeding or clotting disorders; 2) the department’s disclosure and dissemination of that information within and outside DSHS; and 3) other issues that affect the health and wellness of persons living with hemophilia or other bleeding or clotting disorders.
