Teen Connection

dscn4249The Teen Connection Program is designed as a building block for our community teens.  Education, leadership, world perspective and dialog about the myths and realities of living with a bleeding disorder are foundational components of this program.  Through the program teens create bonds with other community teens that continue past meetings and deepen into friendships.  All activities seek to build skills and confidence necessary to grow the active and informed future leaders of our community.

Share Your Voices

Teen Connection Camp is offered at HFA’s annual Symposium.   Program activities include: lessons in self-infusion, disease and genetic education, arts & crafts, team building, and waterfront and adventure activities.
Teen Twitter is HFA’s forum for teens to “tweet” together in a safe environment and discuss the issues that are relevant and important to this age group. [Twitter Link]
Share Your Voices is our ongoing Voices Campaign as HFA collects the individual stories of individuals to build community and advocacy outreach.
