Focus on the Feminine is all about supporting women.  The program provides both educational and social support to encourage women to seek a diagnosis and treatment, as well as support and education for moms, spouses and caregivers in the community.   These women unite in a common voice; a voice of support, awareness and advocacy for those living with a bleeding disorder and those caring for someone with a bleeding disorder. The Focus on the Feminine meets annually at the HFA Symposium in a breakout session designed by women, for women.  In an effort to bring greater attention and awareness to women with bleeding disorders, Focus on the Feminine has launched two new initiatives.

The first initiative is a campaign to collect the real-life stories of women with a bleeding disorder.  These stories provide women a unique opportunity to not only share their own story, but to also learn from the stories of others.

The second initiative is education and awareness through technology, such as national Calls/Webinars on topics specifically for women in the bleeding disorders community.
