New Families

HFA embraces families affected by hemophilia, von Willebrand disease and bleeding disorders by offering education and support to parents, siblings, and extended family. The newly diagnosed family is offered assistance in facing myriad challenges, such as negotiating medical care and dealing with insurance issues. We offer support groups, educational programs, and the opportunity to become involved in the bleeding disorders community.
