Teen Connection

The HFA Teen Connection program began in 2000 with the dream of connecting teens affected by bleeding disorders with their peers across the country. The program's goal is to help teens within our community develop leadership skills and to educate the public about the myths and realities of living with these disorders. To give teens a voice and to insure future leaders for our organization, each HFA Member Organization nominates teens to a national Teen Advisory Board (TAB). TAB works with the HFA Board of Directors to advocate for issues affecting the blood clotting disorders community.
