Blood Brotherhood

For Adult Men

Adult men living with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders often suffer from painful bleeding episodes, joint damage, arthritis, and depression from their frequent health problems. In addition to their hemophilia, many older adult men have co-morbidities as a result of contaminated blood products. (Read our history) Despite these complications, comprehensive care can help adult men with bleeding disorders lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

Blood Brotherhood is a national program for adult men living with hemophilia or von Willebrand disease. Designed to be a multi-avenue outreach to provide education and support, promote good health, and establish a sense of community for adult men, you can connect with Blood Brotherhood in three ways:

If you are an adult male with a bleeding disorder, you are a part of Blood Brotherhood!

HFA also offers support for Spouses and Partners.
